Lan Quach
Owner and Founder of Halos Wedding
While a student at Hanoi University in 2005, Lan was a member of the Share a Smile Club, the first student club in the area that supported Operation Smile. Since then, Lan has joined 16 missions with Operation Smile in Vietnam, China, Cambodia, and Thailand. In 2007, she became the president of the club. Lan graduated from Hanoi University in 2010.
In 2008, Lan met Dr. Dane Hoang and became aware of the goals of the Le Hoang Foundation. From the moment she met Dr. Dane, she has been an advocate for the foundation and has worked tirelessly with Le Hoang Foundation projects in Hue, Sapa, Nam Dinh, Hanoi, Bangkok, and Siem Reap.
Lan has also worked as a fund raising executive with the Sound of Light Project, a charitable group that records math, literature, history, and English lessons on CDs to support blind students. The project, with over 200 volunteers, has positively impacted children in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Since 2011, Lan began her own business as a wedding and events coordinator. She has never forgotten her roots, though, and with her extensive business contacts throughout Vietnam, Lan is a valuable contributor to the efforts of Operation Smile and Le Hoang Foundation.
